If you are considering a role in vocational assessment, or need to know about assessment practice but are not currently practising, then this knowledge-only course could be for you. You might be delivering the training on a vocational programme or performing the role of internal quality assurer/verifier.

• Legal and good practice requirements
Delivery and duration
This course is delivered online, utilising e-learning.
There are a number of online short-answer questions.
You will receive a YST certificate following successful completion of the online questions to highlight your achievement of the learning outcomes.
For an additional fee, you will also be eligible for the YMCA Level 3 Award in Understanding the Principles and Practices of Assessment.
You may decide that you want to progress to the Vocational Assessor course to achieve a recognised qualification from YMCA Awards that will enable you to practice as an assessor: Level 3 Award in Assessing Vocationally-Related Achievement.
You will be able to access this course at a reduced price upon successful completion of the Understanding Vocational Assessment course. Contact us to find out more.
The product fee includes an annual licence for a single user. The user has unlimited access to the e-learning for 12 months from the date of enrolment. After this time, they will need to renew their licence by re-purchasing the product, should they wish to extend their access.
